Fleet and Equipment Mechanic

What We Offer:

This position is a full-time position.
$22-$32 per hour
Monday – Friday, with the exception of snow operations and emergency repair calls. (must be willing to work weekends and nights as needed)

What You’ll Do:

Perform preventative maintenance on company trucks, equipment, and tools. Including but not limited to, 2-cycle, gas, and diesel equipment of all shapes and sizes. Snow removal and De-icing equipment.
Diagnose and repair broken equipment using sound logic and mechanical skills.
Effectively manage self between ordering parts, retrieving/delivery, and completing repairs/maintenance within scheduled timeframes.
Operate and transport equipment for testing and diagnosing purposes.
Properly report and keep logs of all repairs and maintenance services..
Work closely with management for determining priorities and effectively communicate solutions to problems.
Keep workplace neat, clean and organized at all times.

Who You Are:

3+ years of related work experience.
Intricate mechanical knowledge with 2-cycle, gas, and diesel equipment for maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting.
The ability to complete work within a time-sensitive schedule. Able to manage/prioritize own schedule with guidance from management.
Exceptional organizational skills and quality workmanship. Take pride in fixing the problem right the first time.

The Basics:

Must possess a clean driving record, valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation.
Must be physically able to perform duties and be willing to take on additional duties as needed.
